Executor, an MCP gateway, normalises tools from MCP, OpenAPI, GraphQL and custom APIs into one schema, loading details only when a tool is actually called. Listing 1,640 tools directly costs about 278,800 tokens of context, versus roughly 1,044 tokens through the gateway.
