Armature measured 16,893 coding-agent sessions and found Claude Code, Codex and Cursor agreed on the same tool only 42% of the time. Codex searches the web 94% of the time versus Claude Code’s 30%. The sharpest finding: PayPal came up 139 times and was never once selected.
