How well do agents use test/verification techniques?

Dan Luu tried 26 testing techniques on agents implementing Zstd in Rust, and most made results worse. TDD produced weaker code. Formal methods like Verus proved trivial properties rather than real bugs. Plain instructions, with no named technique, beat nearly all of them.
