How we made claude.ai 3x faster in two weeks

Anthropic’s web team cut claude.ai’s fresh page load from 3.1 seconds to 0.55 by baking the composer into the HTML so it’s typeable immediately. Other fixes, like memoising O(message length) work and fixing a triple message-ID lookup, pushed some interactions from 928ms to 48ms.
