Shopify’s Tobias Lütke calls it a “slop grenade”: AI-polished work tossed at colleagues who then have to unpick it. A BetterUp/Stanford survey he cites found 52.7% of desk workers had sent such “workslop”, and recipients spent 3.4 hours a month fixing it.
